Dr. Peter Loizou

Dr. Peter Loizou is an internationally recognized ENT and Head & Neck Surgeon with expertise spanning precision medicine, robotic surgery, and advanced oncology care. With over a decade of specialization in complex head and neck procedures, AI-driven diagnostics, and surgical innovation, he brings a truly global perspective to modern healthcare, with advanced training across the UK, Australia, and the US.

He holds a BSc in Human Biology from King's College London, a Medical Degree from the University of Southampton, and a Master’s in Surgical Education from Imperial College London. Dr. Peter earned his FRCS and CCT through specialist training in the UK, followed by further advanced training in Sydney and Florida in robotic and head & neck surgery.

He currently serves as Head of Department at Mediclinic Parkview Hospital in Dubai, where he plays a leading role in surgical innovation and cancer care as part of the Head & Neck Cancer MDT. His background also includes prominent research and academic contributions, including appointments as Research Lead and Ethics Committee Lead at King’s College Hospital London in Dubai and regular reviewer for the Royal College of Surgeons of England.

A passionate educator, Dr. Peter continues to mentor the next generation of surgeons as an Adjunct Associate Professor at MBRU and remains active across medical education and research platforms.
