Stelios Hadjielia

Stelios is a Partner at Pnyx Hill, leading the firm’s Governance & Risk Advisory department. With deep expertise across financial services licensing, regulatory compliance, risk management, and corporate governance, Stelios brings over a decade of experience navigating complex regulatory landscapes in the EU and internationally.

Throughout his career, he has successfully led authorization processes and operational setups for financial institutions across multiple jurisdictions, including engagements with CySEC, FCA, BaFIN, and AMF. Notably, he played a key role in securing Revolut’s crypto asset service provider license in Cyprus, establishing robust governance and product compliance structures to meet stringent regulatory standards.

In addition to his role at Pnyx Hill, Stelios serves as a Non-Executive Director in a Cyprus Investment Firm and an Alternative Investment Fund Manager, where he is responsible for monitoring governance frameworks and ensuring regulatory compliance with AML, investment services, and fund management legislation.

Stelios holds an MSc in Business & Management from Aston Business School and a BA in Accounting and Management from the University of Essex. He is also an active member of the Ethics and Risk Management Committee of the Cyprus Investment Funds Association.
