Yiannos Ashiotis

Yiannos is the Founder and Managing Partner of Pnyx Hill, where he leads the firm’s regulatory and governance advisory practice. A seasoned expert in corporate governance, board leadership, and regulatory strategy, Yiannos works closely with financial institutions, investment firms, credit providers, and crypto asset service companies across the Middle East, EU, and beyond.

His expertise spans AML compliance, banking regulation, and risk management, with a strong track record advising clients through complex regulatory environments across multiple jurisdictions. Yiannos is actively engaged with regulators and senior boards, providing governance oversight and building robust compliance frameworks.

He is a Certified Public Accountant (AICPA), holds an MBA in International Finance, and a BSc in Business Administration. He is also a Certified Financial Services Auditor (CFSA) and a Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (ACAMS). Yiannos represents Cyprus in ISO committees on Financial Services, Corporate Governance, and Green Finance, and serves on the boards of Revolut Digital Technologies, the CISI Cyprus National Advisory Council, and StoneX Europe.
